International Grammar School
The School wanted an inspiring and intuitive site that would connect with various key audiences and promotes the School whilst also providing a functional source of information about the School. The previous website was outdated in its aesthetics, and navigation and access to different key areas of the site were not necessarily easy or intuitive. Therefore, they wanted to streamline the website and improve clarity for the target audiences.
Elevate the web presence to feature intuitive navigation, quality content and new channels. Facilitate ability of the user to book a tour. Increase digital and social reach, to be measured by website visits, conversions, and engagement.
With a new digital branding, structure, and design system we could build several content blocks that meet the intended needs of the site. The new branding was appealing to numerous audiences and had a great response. There was a significant increase in page views per session and page time per session, as well as a decrease in the bounce rate. See the site
Product Strategy, Design and Digital branding
My name is Bruno Silva
, and I’m a designer from Rio de Janeiro. Since early 2016 I have been working as a senior UX/UI designer at Westcon
, where I am responsible for the design of their digital products which are being deployed all over Latin America and the US.
For the past 14 years, I've worked at studios, agencies, startups, and multinational corporations. I have a strong experience working holistically from UX/UI design to visual and creative direction, designing interfaces for large-scale web projects, intranets, and apps. To me, design is solving problems, and in my experience, a good result can't be achieved without first understanding the problem and then exhaustively exploring and iterating on design solutions. I am a firm believer in collaborative work between the design team and the client and think that the best work comes from being able to prototype and test ideas from day one.
I am fortunate to have started working in the digital industry in 2002 when I was still in design school. Since then I helped agencies in Rio, the US, Canada, Dubai, and Australia, designing projects for global clients - Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble and Hilton Hotels - as well as Brazilian brands - Oi (largest telecom company in Brazil), Ipiranga ( second-largest Brazilian fuel distribution company), Aliansce (largest developer of shopping malls in Brazil) and Globo.com (largest media group of Latin America).
